Annual · Inaugural 2026
Mrs Check-In Family Hotel Awards
Each year we recognise the hotels that get it right — not the loudest or the largest, but the rooms and resorts a family will remember for a lifetime.
The Awards are an editor's list, not a popularity contest. There is no public vote and no paid entry. Winners are chosen from hotels already on the Mrs Check-In Family Index, judged across a small number of categories that matter to design-loving families. Below is the shape of the inaugural list — the names are illustrative until the 2026 edition is published.

Cutting-edge, stylish interiors with an unusually earnest service soul — a hotel tied to a hospitality school, where design and care are taught in the same breath.

Resort-like facilities and breathing room beyond the densest districts — pools, play zones and great views, with a transit line straight back into the city.

A self-contained urban resort with a Michelin-starred restaurant alongside a generous breakfast buffet — fine dining and child-friendly spaces under one roof.
Editor's Choice
Gran Hotel Ciudad de Mexico

A luminous Tiffany-glass atrium and a rooftop over the Zócalo — staying here feels like inhabiting a storybook, the most quietly magical stay of the year.
